You treat, board or breed animals

If you have just opened a share link: it was created by the animal's owner, opens with no account and nothing to install, shows only the sections they picked, and stops working on the date they set. If you got here another way, this page says what Krokyu does, what it does not replace, and why there is nothing in it for you.

What is Krokyu?

A digital health record the owner keeps themselves: what you handed them, vaccination dates, ongoing treatments, weight, photographed documents. Krokyu gives no opinion and recommends nothing. The app carries what the owner wrote down, and reminds them of it on the date they chose.

What about a boarding kennel or a pet sitter?

The owner opens a link valid for 7, 30 or 90 days, ticking what you may see: vaccines, ongoing treatments and medications with their dosage, weight, their vet's contact details. It gathers, before the animal arrives, the information you already ask for, and it can be revoked at any time. If the animal has a problem during the stay and the owner cannot be reached, you generate a full document for the vet from that same link — including the sections they had not ticked, and their contact details. If you require the paper booklet to be handed over, this link does not replace it: it gives you the information, not the official document.

What about a breeder?

You keep the record for the puppies or kittens while they are with you — vaccinations, wormers, weight week by week, photographed documents — then you transfer the profile to the new owner on the day they leave. They find the full history on their own account, with nothing to re-enter, and the upcoming reminders keep going out. The transfer is final: you lose access to the profile, it is not a window you keep on the animal once it has gone.

What does it change for a practice?

The client arrives with a legible history instead of “I think he had his shot in March”. And the reminder follows the animal: it keeps going out when the owner moves, changes practice or leaves the animal with someone else, which a reminder sent from your own software can no longer do once the client is gone.

Is there anything in it for us?

Nothing at all. Krokyu offers no commission, no affiliate scheme and no paid partner code, to any professional. Nothing to sign, nothing to install, no data to give us, and no account to create in order to read a shared record. On the owner's side, keeping the record is free, and a free account opens one emergency link a month, valid for 1, 6 or 24 hours. The boarding link is part of the paid plan at every length, including 7 days, and so is the profile transfer.

Where is the data held?

In the European Union. The owner alone decides what is shared, with whom and for how long; they can withdraw an access at any time, and the link then stops working.
